Pontook Reservoir is a 280-acre (1.1 km2) impoundment on the Androscoggin River in Coos County in northern New Hampshire, United States. The dam and impoundment are located in the town of Dummer. The reservoir was created for hydroelectric power generation.
The area is a great spot to view American bald eagles flourishing in the wild, with several photo opportunities available at roadside on NH Route 16.
